Napoleon's armies tore up Europe from 1799 until he was poisoned in 1821 (by French monarchists), so when Lincoln spoke, he was speaking about recent history. This is like those of us today speaking about the 1984 Olympics. Yes, that's 17 years ago.

At a time when many Americans can barely afford Burger King and a movie, Obama boasts of spending a billion dollars on his re-election campaign. Questioned at a recent appearance about the spiraling fuel costs, Obama said, "Get used to it" – and with an insouciant grin and chortle, he told another person at the event, who complained about the effect high fuel prices were having on his family, to "get a more fuel-efficient car."
The Obamas behave as if they were sharecroppers living in a trailer and hit the Powerball, but instead of getting new tires for their trailer and a new pickup truck, they moved to Washington. And instead of making possum pie, with goats and chickens in the front yard, they're spending and living large at taxpayer expense – opulent vacations, gala balls, resplendent dinners and exclusive command performances at the White House, grand date nights, golf, basketball, more golf, exclusive resorts and still more golf.
Expensive, ill-fitting and ill-chosen wigs and fashions hardly befit the first lady of the United States. The Obamas have behaved in every way but presidential – which is why it's so offensive when we hear Obama say, in order "to restore fiscal responsibility, we all need to share in the sacrifice – but we don't have to sacrifice the America we believe in."
The American people have been sacrificing; it is he and his family who are behaving as if they've never had two nickels to rub together – and now, having hit the mother lode,
they're going to spend away their feelings of inadequacy at the taxpayers' expense.

Chilling technology straight out of Minority Report that would subject Americans to pre-crime interrogations and physiological scans to detect “malintent” at sports stadiums, malls, airports and other public places has moved closer to being implemented after Homeland Security’s FAST program passed its first round of testing.
“Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST), a US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programme designed to spot people who are intending to commit a terrorist act, has in the past few months completed its first round of field tests at an undisclosed location in the northeast,” reports Nature.

I first learned of the book, 'The Marines' Secret Execution,' from the author several months ago. At that time I sent out the author's provided pre-publication information (URL) to several individuals for purposes of information and discussion. Since then there has been both discussion and inquiries from Marines, and others, regarding the book. The book deals with the Marine Raiders, Guadalcanal, and the alleged execution of two Marines there in 1942.
In some cases, the responses were of a negative nature from those who disagree with the author's claim that an execution of two Marines had taken place by the Marine Corps, on Guadalcanal, in 1942. Others suggested that the author was not a Marine at all as he claimed, but then others stated that they had ascertained, through official records, that he indeed had served in the Corps.

My own interest was tweaked by these events, and I attempted to research this subject as best I could. I am presently in the process of reading the book at the present time.

Samantha, who did not give her last name, and her friends were hiking at Downriver Park over the weekend when they captured Bigfoot by using their iPhone camera.
Samantha posted a YouTube video of the creature a few days later.
In her post, Samantha said she didn't notice Bigfoot until she looked at her video when she got home.
So, far more than 1,500 people have viewed the video online.
'Someone asked me in the comments section if I believed in Bigfoot before the video,' wrote Samantha in an e-mail to KXLY.
'I have never given it much thought, but now I'm not so sure. Seem real enough to me,' she said.
KXLY showed the video to several students and staff at Spokane Community College, where the school mascot is Bigfoot himself."

In Ireland, Obama-ites didn’t even prepare well enough to know the Presidential Limo (fortunately it was the false flag limo) couldn’t “get over the hump.” He can’t travel without embarrassing his country. Those who have followed my articles over the years know that my Memorial Day articles always include photos of military cemeteries around the world, listing the number of our young men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting on foreign soil. "Why, why did you kill him?" a traumatized Vanessa Guerena begged to know as she was interrogated in a makeshift "command center" by detectives from the same Sheriff's Office that had just slaughtered her husband Jose. Jose, who had finished a graveyard shift at the Asarco copper mine, was sleeping when a SWAT team from the Pima County Sheriff's Office laid siege to his home on the morning of May 5. Vanessa was doing laundry, and the couple's four-year-old son Joel was watching "Transformers," when the SWAT raiders pulled up in a Bear Cat armored vehicle.
The siren sounded for less than ten seconds; just a few seconds later, the order to "breach" the door was given because, as on-scene commander Deputy Bob Krygier later explained, nobody inside the house had "submitted to our authority."
Vanessa initially thought that there was an emergency "somewhere in the neighborhood," and called the police. When she saw armed intruders on her property, Vanessa screamed for her husband to wake up. Jose told Vanessa to take their younger son (whose older brother, Jose, Jr., was in school) and hide in the closet, while he went to confront the invaders.

After all, being the President has to be the world’s number one thankless job.
You say “What?” and I couldn’t agree with you more. You see, at this time in the life of our Constitution, we have no time, nor patience, for a politician to “wheel and deal” with the opposition.
Before now, it was fun and games, sometimes referred to as “politics as usual.” But nowadays, it’s not “usual to trash the Constitution,” is it?"
