Just a few thoughts about the possible reason we have finally been treated to a copy of Obama's genuine, new (and it is new) birth certificate.

We’ve been reading for almost two years now about the fact that Obama was pointedly ignoring requests for a real birth certificate to be released. In fact he spent around $2 million making sure none of his records were released, right on down to Kindergarten.
WorldNet Daily made a big splash about the fact that you couldn’t find any information on this individual that currently resides in the Red (White) House and they even paid to put billboards up around the country asking pointedly “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” Others picked up on this and ran with it also. No response from our Marxist-in-Chief except an occasional sneer, which he’s pretty good at.
Then along came Donald Trump, supposedly running for president, probably as a RINO. He started complaining about Obama’s lack of a valid birth certificate, and lo and behold, Obama shoves one out this past week. Trump claims credit for getting one posted when no one else could.
However, looking at the Great One’s new “authentic” birth certificate, it seems that there are some problems with it. For instance..........................................

CONCORD — You can only speculate about the last moments of a Vietnam soldier killed in action. Imagine the choking clouds of dust followed by a heavy pattering of rain, those adrenaline-filled heartbeats of a soldier, ready to do what his country asked him to.
Imagine that soldier, fingering a lucky Zippo lighter in his pocket, another touching a cross nestled around his neck, all of them checking their weapons.
They take fire, three don’t make it out.
Things similar to these may have happened during the last moments of Sgt. First Class Donald “Donnie” Monroe Shue. Shue, an Army Green Beret, was serving with two others when they went missing on a mission Nov. 3, 1969. Shue, Staff Sgt. William Brown and Staff Sgt. Gunther Wald were last seen wounded 30 miles inside Laos, near Ban Chakevy Tai in Saravane Province. According to military documents, Shue and the other two men — as well as several men who escaped — were attached to a unit performing highly classified maneuvers throughout Southeast Asia.

But, also if you’re like me, you definitely don’t want an America that would prohibit The Donald (or is it “The Trump” . . . or “The Hair”?) from running.

Sick and tired of high gas prices? It’s all Obama’s fault, according to Mitt Romney, who pumped his own gas on Friday as the cameras rolled.
“It’s a marketplace and if America is not serious about getting our own energy resources in line, then we are going to have higher and higher prices in part today as a result of the expectations of higher prices tomorrow,” Romney said, according to Reuters.
During a dinner sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, Romney said he wants to hang the “misery index” around Obama’s neck.

President Obama's birth certificate took center stage during his appearance Saturday night at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington.
He was introduced with the song "Real American" with shots of the certificate cut into a South Park-style montage, Politico reported. The president also said he really wanted to put the issue of his birth to rest -- and showed a brief clip from the Disney cartoon "The Lion King."
Obama also took aim at Donald Trump, who has become of the country's best-known "birthers" in the past few weeks and a possible Republican candidate for president next year.
"Now, I know that he's taken some flak lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than The Donald," Obama said. "And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, 'Did we fake the moon landing?'

We called it "afflicting the comfortable and comforting the afflicted."
We knew the central role of a free press in a free society is to serve as a watchdog on government and other powerful institutions.
Today, for the most part, America has a controlled press – one more suited to making excuses for the powerful, parroting the party line, demeaning efforts to hold officials accountable for their actions and serving as little more than propaganda agents for their favorite politicians.
If you want to see a classic example of what I'm talking about, look no further than an April 23 Associated Press story, circulated worldwide by the largest news-gathering organization on the globe, about the concern over Barack Obama's refusal to demonstrate his constitutional eligibility to serve in the White House.
It's a journalistic scandal.
