The US president appears to have embarked on a deliberate strategy to embrace radical Islam by partnering with Islamic organizations calling for the demise of the United States, and by assigning Islamists to key strategic positions that oversee the security of the nation, aspects of the judiciary, and as intimate aides to high level administration appointees. The Administration’s public position is that these relationships are in the best interest of the United States in promoting tolerance in America and democracy in the Middle East.

reality, they raise poignant and unthinkable questions as to whether this president has violated his oath of office and several U.S. laws by facilitating an Islamic takeover of America.

One need look no further than the Administration’s embracing of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and high level appointments of Muslims who are directly associated with the MB or have ties to organizations associated with the MB. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s top aid since 1996 is Huma Abedin. Former Palestinian terrorist now converted Christian Walid Shoebat says that Abedin was never properly screened."

Barack Obama’s big government policies continue to fail. He should put a link to the national debt clock on his BlackBerry. The gears on that clock have nearly exploded during his administration. Yesterday’s terrible job numbers should not be a surprise because it all goes back to our debt. Our dangerously unsustainable debt is wiping out our jobs, crippling our economic growth, and jeopardizing our position in the global economy as the leader of the free world.

As a governor, I had to"

Just a day after U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., called for Attorney General Eric Holder's removal, alleging a White House connection to the 'Project Gunrunner' that allowed weapons to be delivered to Mexican drug lords, confirmation has come that the program originated at the highest levels of the Obama administration.

The link is the $10 million in taxpayer dollars designated to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for Project Gunrunner in Obama's 2009 American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, otherwise known as the Stimulus Bill."

Prison Planet.com There’s No Recovery Because the Government Made it Official Policy Not to Prosecute Fraud: "Fraud caused the Great Depression and it has caused the current financial crisis. But fraud is not not being prosecuted, and so it will occur again and again, and prevent a sustainable economic recovery.

Numerous economists have been saying this for years. As I pointed out in March:

Nobel prize winning economist George Akerlof has demonstrated that failure to punish white collar criminals – and instead bailing them out- creates incentives for more economic crimes and further destruction of the economy in the future. Indeed, William Black notes that we’ve known of this dynamic for “hundreds of years”."

“The Republican Party is Losing People’s Support”| The Post & Email: "But at any given moment you must remember one of your most important obligations – to protect the Constitution of the United States – the greatest and most important document in our country.

In front of your eyes (or do you not see???) unfolds a flagrant disregard and violation of our Constitution. On April 27, 2011 Mr. Obama presented his supposedly ‘original Birth Certificate’. According to this document his father was citizen of Kenya and mother was too young to confer U.S. citizenship on Obama at birth. That means he does not meet Constitutional Requirements to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief.

I intentionally put aside any and all other alleged crimes he committed. This single violation is more than enough to start Congressional hearings and a full -cale criminal investigation.

By not taking that action you give recognition to the usurper as a President and a legitimate candidate for next election cycle. The Republican Party and you, personally, will be GUILTY and will have to take full responsibility for giving legitimacy to Obama and this Regime."

What About Barry Soetoro and the Casey Anthony Trial?| The Post & Email:

"The Casey Anthony case dominates all major news. Commentators and pundits from various networks are having lively discussions and often heated debates since the verdict of “not guilty” to the murder charges was handed down by the jury. However, the jury found Casey Anthony guilty of lying on four counts, each count punishable by one year in prison.

Not one major media outlet has covered the comparative crime by Barry Soetero, aka Barack Obama. Lying is a crime. Whether you agree with the outcome of the Casey Anthony case or not, the charges of lying which were brought forth reveal a rule of law that was broken."

When Decent People Start to Fear – and Loathe Cops… | Eric Peters Autos

When Decent People Start to Fear – and Loathe Cops… | Eric Peters Autos: "Most everyone has witnessed cops speeeeeding – not on a call, just driving somewhere . Yet they can do it with impunity.

Case in point: A few months back, the wife and I were returning home from Northern Va., driving on I-81. The speed limit at the time was 65 MPH. A state cop ahead of us was toodling along at about 75. I followed him (discreetly, at a distance, in a pack of cars) for more than a half hour. This same cop undoubtedly issues big bucks tickets to Mere Ordinaries (Will Grigg’s excellent term) for doing exactly the same thing. They’re not cops, of course – which is why it’s not exactly the same thing.

And why they get ticketed.

I know some will defend the cops by saying they probably know it’s ridiculous, too – that is, speed limits/enforcement – but they’re just doing their job.

Well, that “Nuremburg defense” doesn’t fly with me. It didn’t use to fly with most Americans, either – until, that is, we became a nation of neo-Weimar cringers and badge-lickers who accept any affront by law enforcement if it’s done “for our safety.”

At one time, I considered"

ISPs Agree to Punish Suspected Copyright Infringement - International Business Times: "The biggest United States ISPs have agreed to allow the entertainment industry to demand that they filter, disrupt, and potentially block users suspected of infringing on intellectual property.

The organization created is known as the CCI, or Center for Copyright Infringement. No actual legislative or other governmental action is directly involved; this is explicitly a deal between the ISP industry and copyright law lobbying groups such as the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) and the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), who themselves are composed of major entertainment companies such as Sony, Universal, Warner, EMI, Walt Disney, Paramount and Twentieth Century Fox."

Progressivism: The Dictatorship of the Constitution

Progressivism: The Dictatorship of the Constitution: "In his 1915 book 'Progressive Democracy', Herbert Croly elaborates on something he calls 'the monarchy of the word'. He writes: (page 44)

The Law in the shape of the Federal Constitution really came to be a monarchy of the Word. It had been imposed upon the popular will, which was the only power capable of disputing its authority; and its friends came more and more to assume that the imposition was wise and beneficent. A systematic attempt was made to justify the supremacy of the Law. The people were warned that, if they rebelled, the just and awful judgment of the Lord would overtake them. Thus the aspirations and the conviction of the early democrats that popular political authority should be righteously expressed hardened into a system, which consecrated one particular machinery of possibly righteous expression. Reverence for law was made to mean reverence for one specific formulation of Law. Reverence for order was made to mean reverence for an established order. All that the American people had to do to insure their political salvation was vigilantly to safeguard the specific formulation of law and order which was found in the sacred writing.

Monarchy is just another word for dictator. And"

Raiding an Empty Vault

Raiding an Empty Vault: "Twenty-five years ago, Geraldo Rivera hosted a greatly hyped TV special called 'The Mystery of Al Capone's Vaults.' It still stands as one of the highest-rated programs in television history.

On the ballyhooed night, cameras crept through the tunnel to the vault. There, on live TV, workers pulled down the concrete wall. The dust settled, and the cameras peered inside. And what did spellbound viewers behold? A pile of dirt, a few empty gin bottles, and a discarded stop sign. Such were the treasures in Al Capone's vault."

Relationship between Obama, Boehner builds at critical moment

Relationship between Obama, Boehner builds at critical moment: "The relationship between Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and President Obama is building as they head into a critical meeting aimed at ending the impasse over raising the nation's debt limit.

Since their high-profile golf outing last month, Boehner and Obama have held two private meetings to discuss a debt-limit remedy. Details of the meetings weren't leaked to the media, and the White House has even refused to confirm they occurred.

After successfully navigating the first major legislative battle over a measure to fund the government through the remainder of the fiscal year, the two men have been “building” their relationship, according to a source close to Boehner.

“They are getting to know each other better, they’re talking more often,” the official told The Hill.

Goodbye, Number Five | Eric Peters Autos

Goodbye, Number Five | Eric Peters Autos: "It’s a laugh line, because, like, so many of the other amendments to the Bill of Rights, that “godamn piece of paper,” as George W. Bush referred to it, pleading the Fifth – that is, declining to assist the authorities in your own prosecution – has become a sick joke.

Cops now have the legal authority in Texas (though not the right) to forcibly extract blood from you in order to use that blood as evidence against you in DWI cases – which are of course criminal proceedings.

An appellate court recently affirmed the legality of this practice – and bet your bippie it will be expanded to a State Near You soon.

Refuse to take a Breathalyzler or decline to perform the trained monkey act by the side of the road (perhaps because you’re not coordinated even when sober and probably a lot less so under pressure and in the glow of a policeman’s flashlight) and you may find yourself thrown down across the hood of a squad car while some random cop jams your body with needles in order to get the blood that will then be used as evidence against you at your trail."

What’s the Magic Number? The Unemployment Number for Obama's Reelection.

What’s the Magic Number? The Unemployment Number for Obama's Reelection.: "A recent New York Times story ricocheted around the political community after opening with this revelatory sentence: “No American president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt has won a second term in office when the unemployment rate on Election Day topped 7.2 percent.”

There is the magic number! If unemployment is higher than 7.2% as we head into the general election in 2012, we know President Obama is a goner. If it is lower, Obama gets an encore term. Can it really be this simple?"

Holder Launches Witch Hunt Against Biased Banks

Holder Launches Witch Hunt Against Biased Banks: "In what could be a repeat of the easy-lending cycle that led to the housing crisis, the Justice Department has asked several banks to relax their mortgage underwriting standards and approve loans for minorities with poor credit as part of a new crackdown on alleged discrimination, according to court documents reviewed by IBD.

[snip]

Another Reno protege, Perez has compared bankers to Klansmen. Only difference is, he said, bankers discriminate 'with a smile' and 'fine print.' He said this kind of racism, though more subtle, is 'every bit as destructive as the cross burned in a neighborhood.'

Perez has put in place an infrastructure to enforce 'fair lending' — including a first-of-its-kind Fair Lending Unit staffed with more than 20 lawyers, economists and statisticians.

He's appointed a special lending cop to run it — Special Counsel for Fair Lending Eric Halperin, who also worked for Reno. Before returning to Justice, Halperin was chief Washington lobbyist for the Center for Responsible Lending, an anti-redlining group that urged banks to relax lending standards for low-income urban borrowers before the crisis.

On Closer Inspection The Employment Report Is Even More Depressing: "I suppose that the Non Farm Payroll report could have been worse than it was. But not much worse. Some of the talking heads are calling the latest news a “soft patch”. Maybe so. We shall see. My read is that the report was (more) clear evidence that the economy is grinding down. The second half of this year is likely to show only marginal growth. The June NFP was the tip off.

Johan Hulath at Morgan Keegan prepared the following slides. As is often the case pictures tell the story better than words.

A recap of the NFP data. Note that there is no category that was not under street expectations. Things are much worse in employment land than anyone thought."

The Obama Car

The Obama Car

June 30, 2011
By
Now Obama’s decided to ban cars outright.
Not in so many words, perhaps – but the end result of his just-announced “proposal” that new cars be required by law to average 56.2 miles per gallon by 2025 will be pretty much exactly that.
Not one car sold in the United States currently gets 56 MPG – not even on the highway, let alone averages 56 MPG. Not even hybrids like the Toyota Prius, the best of the lot – which maxes out at 51 on the highway and 48 in city driving. The maximum highway mileage achieved by a current non-hybrid car (the 2012 Honda Civic HF) is 41 MPG. Its average mileage is 33 MPG.

Making an Indoor Cat an Outdoor Cat?

Making an Indoor Cat an Outdoor Cat?: "I have two cats; one, Guinness, is a four year old female, the other, Finnegan, is a two year old male. They have always lived indoors.

We also have an outdoor cat, Thatcher, who lives in our barn and has a pretty good life. She walked onto our farm 3 years ago and seemed to have been dumped. She smelled of powders and domestication when she came onto the scene. We gave her some space in our barn and she seems to enjoy herself.

We have a small house. In my opinion, as the guy who cleans out the litter box, our indoor cats have become too big for our home. They are both pretty large; Guinness is overweight and Finnegan is simply a big 'no-neck' pounder, who is also the biggest sissy the world has known. He thinks that he is a lap dog.

Guinness has made numerous attempts at"

It’s not hard to pinpoint the exact moments when the Constitution was explicitly disavowed by the robed shysters charged (by themselves) with “interpreting” it.
Once such moment was 21 years ago, in 1991, when the robed shysters of the Supreme Court “interpreted” the plain meaning of the Fourth Amendment to mean its opposite.

Conversations With a Clover…. | Eric Peters Autos

Conversations With a Clover…. | Eric Peters Autos:

"In honor of July 4 – the lingering spirit of it, if not the actuality – I decided to publish a “letter to Clover” as a way to show how anti-freedom people think.

Maybe “think” is not the exactly right term to use to describe the mental processes of a Clover. It’s more a combination of primitive emoting and intellectual incapacity – in particular, an incapacity to think in terms of concepts and principles. The Clover sees something he doesn’t like, and reflexively emotes: “There ought to be a law!” He does not grasp the broader implications of “the law” he wants to see enacted – or he just doesn’t care, because he believes it will further some greater good – as he defines it.

Dissecting the Cloverite Mentality is interesting in terms of understanding just what pro-freedom people are up against.

The “letter” that follows was written in response to this missive I received from a Clover in response to my column criticizing random roadblocks:"

Fear: GOP Will Cave on Sunday, Agree to Hike Taxes with Fake Cuts: "So on Thursday's Special Report, Kristol said that the Republicans are gonna give in and agree to the terms set forth by the regime. Here's the quote. 'It sounds as if it’s heading towards a deal. It’s not a deal that I’m going to like I suspect, and think it’s going to be a bad deal for conservatives and Republicans but I think they’re intimidated. The president has been running around talking about corporate jets and the rich, and how the sky is going to fall unless Republicans cave. And I think they’re getting ready to cave in a pretty big way on Sunday.' Which is the next meeting. Obama canceled another vacation, was gonna go to Whitefish, Montana on Sunday but then he discovered that if he made these guys work on Sunday and went to Whitefish it wouldn't look good. He's probably kicking the teleprompter that made him say that these guys need to work through the weekend because now he has to as well."

Who will survive? The country vs the city.

Who will survive? The country vs the city.: "The Country Mouse vs The City Mouse

I have seen several debates on various websites and blogs as of late, sometimes quite heated. The topic of these opinions and debates were what is better urban or rural from a survival standpoint. Some are adamant that no one can survive a TEOTWAWKI event if they are East of the big muddy and in particular if they are not on a very remote retreat.. others are of the opinion that remote rural retreats invite gangs of home invading thugs, and that resources are easier found in a urban situation given any situation short of zombie apocalypse.

I respect both of the after mentioned points of view as both have merit. However; I also recommend that you do your own evaluation before making a decision as life altering as making a move and selecting a home or retreat location based on “possible” scenarios. If you are currently in a third floor apartment and have the drive and ability to enhance your survivability by relocating, DO IT! A micro-farm or mini-homestead or even a suburban house with a sizeable garden space is better now than the dream retreat on 300 wooded acres in Alaska in twenty years.

Things you must consider (I suggest keeping a notebook for this process)..

Metaphors for a Post-Federal America by Karen Kwiatkowski ~ "the term 'clovers.'"

"I don’t know if Eric Peters invented it, but I love the term 'clovers.' It describes the anti-freedom and pro-state mentality, the nanny-state mindset, and applies to Americans of all eras who embraced progressivism and state-as-moral-agent since the late 1800s. It doesn’t sound exceptionally pejorative, at first glance.

It’s not an ugly phrase, so it is possible one might actually speak to clovers about their cloverism, in a helpful and constructive way. Cloverism is something we can see in small and routine ways – as Peters waxes eloquently, on the highways. Yet it captures an entire battlefront in the ongoing fight for liberty in America.

It’s elegant – useful, purposeful, and valuable. To be a clover is to imply government is to be trusted, and obeyed – and yet 99% of clovers probably do not always trust, obey or believe government pronouncements. Accordingly, many clovers are libertarians in waiting, and deserve our care and attention. If a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged (safely philosophically within the"
