—So, do we need to pledge our allegiance to ourselves? As Judge Andrew Napolitano asked on his Freedom Watch show last week, “Does the government work for us or do we work for the government?
Are true patriots guided by symbolism such as flag waving and pledges or by their commitment to personal freedoms?”
Perhaps it doesn’t matter. Most folks reciting the Pledge surely don’t view themselves as feudal serfs. But words matter,.....

Republicans Cancel the Constitution:
(Sep. 29, 2011) — Supporting and defending the Constitution and upholding the rule of law are no longer items on the Republican agenda.
According to Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the Constitution and the Supreme Court binding precedent in Minor vs. Happersett (1874), Barack Hussein Obama has never been eligible to be President of the United States.
To hide his ineligibility, Obama has produced a forged Certificate of Live Birth, uses a Social Security number not issued to him and condoned the distribution of a forged Selective Service registration.
Despite being fully aware of the overwhelming evidence corroborating Obama’s guilt, the Republican leadership has ordered its Congress members to ignore constituents’ requests for investigations.
The Republican strategy is to use the Big Stall to cover up the Big Lie.
Political expediency, complicity and fear are the drivers for Republican malfeasance.
Like Democrats, Congressional Republicans consider the Constitution an inconvenient obstacle to their exercise of power. The Southern Poverty Law Center is appalled by the results of a new study finding that states are not teaching the history of the civil rights era. This morning I opened my Facebook page, checked on the kids and closed it. When I opened my page, I was stunned to see a friend suggestion that was a woman who I email occasionally for business purposes.
We had no connecting people displayed. The only way the FB could have linked her to me is through my email list which is in outlook. It looks like they crawled or downloaded my email addresses.
I understand that it is a service they provide, but it is never one that I have accepted, because it is creepy. Is there a way to keep FB out of the computer? So you can visit the site, check a few things and log out without them crawling in?

Why is it our elected Representatives in Congress do not have the backbone to bring Mr. Obama up on charges of treason! If they let this traitor off they are just as guilty as he is. They swore to uphold and defend the US Constitution, so what are they waiting for? It’s time for our elected officials to grow a backbone and stand up for America.

Because neither Clinton nor Obama directly addressed standing Military Code, the code remains intact, as it has existed much longer than 17 years. Homosexual service in the military is still a conduct punishable by Courts Martial, according to the manual and the UCMJ.
By trying to enforce executive political whims without altering code, they have placed both gay and heterosexual members of the military squarely in the line of fire of the UCMJ. Gays can be Courts Martialed for openly or quietly serving, and all other service members can and will be released from service with honors if they refuse to serve under the breech of Military Code and the contract they agreed to when they volunteered for service.
In typical leftist fashion, they have created another division, this time within the military.
Homosexuals represent less than 2% of service members, yet the other 98% have been forced into a position which is against standing Military Code and violates the agreement they signed when volunteering for service..................

Do you remember how the Donald rose like cream to the top? No one wanted to hear about his economic plans, or his experience, they wanted Barack’s ineligibility addressed. Barack’s father was NEVER an American citizen, and even when a resolution was passed in Congress to certify John McCain eligible, the resolution stated CLEARLY that BOTH of his parents were U.S. citizens at the time of his birth. So, it came as a very big surprise to me that of all the articles I have written, the article about the Electric Universe had the most direct feedback of any of them.
My email box was nearly full. There were a variety of emails including some who wanted to point out that Robin Hood was actually a libertarian/anarchist figure who "stole" the money back from the government of the time (the King) to give to the people. I admitted that that may very well have been the original point of Robin Hood, but Hollywood has unfortunately turned it into a socialist indoctrination system.
Other emails came directly from some of the founders of the Electric Universe concept, inviting me to a conference they will be having in Las Vegas in January – an invitation I accepted very humbly!
But the great majority of emails were from people who already knew about the Electric Universe or who found out about it through my post and who were excited about it.
One email I received in particular is quite insightful as to how the college and university bureaucracies of today have hindered the science itself..................

I asked to at least use the office for the summer but they said, “No.” I needed to pack all my stuff and be out by afternoon. While packing my desk I found a woman’s earring underneath but that’s another story.
No, what I really mean is I’m a “MEDICAL” Doctor. In other words, you can come to me with your ailment, I can either diagnose them or tell you you need more serious help and recommend a specialist (for instance, if your finger has been accidentally amputated by a lawnmower , then I am NOT the guy to sew it back on. You need to go to a hospital where they have sewing machines for that sort of thing) and I can recommend treatment for you: take 5 of these pills, for instance, and call me in a week and avoid a diet that is high on carbs for at least this week.
Wait a second? I’ve read through all of this blog. James DID NOT ONCE ever mention going to medical school.
Yeah? So? If you came to me with a headache, for instance, I would ..................

According to CNBC, the Federal Reserve “is planning on monitoring what you say about it on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook”.
Apparently we are not supposed to be alarmed though, because as the CNBC headline states, the Federal Reserve just “wants to be your Facebook friend“.
In fact, the CNBC article says that anyone that feels threatened by the fact that the Federal Reserve will be monitoring what we say on Facebook and Twitter is just “paranoid“.
Well, if it came out that Barack Obama was setting up a system that would identify “key bloggers” and monitor “billions of conversations” on the Internet to see what was being said about him, wouldn’t there be thousands of articles expressing outrage?

Shows Paul beating President in head-to-head matchup.
In a new Harris Poll, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul beats President Obama 51 percent to 49 percent in a general election race.
“This is yet another poll that clearly proves how competitive Ron Paul is against the sitting President,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “Dr. Paul is making strides, affirming that the American people are looking for conviction instead of the typical status quo rhetoric being offered by establishment candidates.”
These results come just a few weeks after a Reuters/Ipsos survey showed Ron Paul polling within striking distance of President Obama among registered voters. Furthermore, a late August Rasmussen poll showed him within 1 percent of President Obama in a head-to-head matchup.
Another recent Gallup survey, conducted August 17-18, shows Paul only 2 percentage points behind Obama in a general election match-up.
In a similar head-to-head survey from last year done by Rasmussen, Dr. Paul drew a statistical dead heat with the President. And earlier this year in a survey by CNN, he did the best out of the other Republicans put up against Obama in a head-to-head poll.

You have to ask yourself, "why would this administration want to pursue a ruling on his signature piece of legislation," if...if they didn't have some sort of ace up their sleeve.
This administration is perceived as weak and losing steam -- Why, why would they push for this. We know why the Republicans are pushing for this, we have the votes and the legislation is un-Constitutional it will get defeated. We know this!
But why is this administration going along with this -- What are they up to.

The fact that Rick Perry has been enduring a bad-to-terrible few weeks means that Mitt Romney has been enjoying a good-to-great few weeks.
When Perry burst into the race last month and immediately surged to the head of the GOP pack, there was a strong sense in the political world that Mitt's jig might finally be up. But now conventional wisdom is rapidly swinging back Romney's way. A new poll from Iowa even shows Romney back in first place -- and Perry running in third, a point behind Michele Bachmann.
Romney's durability is prompting some understandable confusion. For more than a year now, we've heard that his Massachusetts healthcare law -- which included an individual mandate and which served as the blueprint for "ObamaCare," and for which Romney refuses to apologize -- makes him absolute poison to the Obama-era GOP.
And yet he's surviving -- and it really shouldn't be all that surprising. Romney's endurance serves as a fine illustration of how fundamentally illogical public opinion really is, and to the backward-working way that most people actually form their opinions.
