"I just received an email from World Net Daily advertising some books. Not unusual, as I'm on their list, and they send ads all the time.

What is strange though, is the fact that all the books in this ad are religious AND take the oddball '7th-day Sabbath' position--definitely a very minority position among conservative evangelicals, and Christians of all stripes.

The ad also hints at some dark conspiracy amidst conventional Christians, accusing us of not reading the bible carefully.

Some evangelical apologists too categorize Adventism (which started with those who firmly predicted Jesus to come again in the 1840s) itself is at least an eccentric sect, following Old Testament and extra-biblical regulations, if not a cult, not unlike many others that got founded about that time.

In researching the unusual weather we’ve been hearing about, I’m finding a pattern of government intervention is the cause of many of our problems and well may have begun with HAARP.

In the book Angels Don’t Play This HAARP (High frequency Active Auroral Research Program) has 230 fact-filled pages with 400 footnotes written by a leading opponent of this system, Dr. Nick Begich who sounded an alarm how HAARP, initiated in 1992, may be subjecting the ionosphere to a form of scientific madness! The July 2011 Newswatch Newsletter said HAARP is a weather-modification program run by the military. It uses Nikola Tesla’s patents from around the 1900s to divert the jet stream so that one section of the country can be flooded while another has severe drought.

The likelihood of a crash of the Federal Reserve System in hyperinflation is critical, too. But if that event occurs (as it probably will), the response of the power-structure will not be to correct the situation, but instead to impose the worst kind of third-world “austerity” on this country, in order to salvage the financial system at the expense of Mr. and Mrs. America.

Instead of the usual “smile”! you might have been told to do no such thing – very specifically. To be as expressionless as possible. And that the system seemed more “high-tech” than it used to be. Instead of receiving your new license on-site, it would be mailed to you in a week or so – from some unspecified “secure location,” perhaps.

You may have been told or seen signs or been given literature explaining that the new way of taking your picture is part of new security measures designed to make it harder for people to manufacture fake IDs (since a driver’s license is the de facto national ID in this country).

But they probably didn’t mention that the pictures – digitized images, actually – were to be downloaded into a new database that uses facial recognition software to “scan” for (are you surprised?) Terrorists – among other things.

Only it’s ordinary Americans who are being terrorized."

The book’s thesis is, even for me, controversial. I provide 400 pages of evidence that the Constitutional Convention of 1787 was in fact an illegal coup d’�tat.

The participants knew this. This is why they took a lifetime oath of secrecy, walked upstairs to the second floor of the State House (so that eavesdroppers could not report what was going on), closed the doors, and hammered out the design for a replacement government. Newspaper reporters were excluded.

These men had been authorized by Congress and by several state legislatures only to revise the Articles of Confederation (1781), but not replace them.

Knowing full well that they planned to replace the Articles with a new form of government, the leaders of the Convention nevertheless agreed to the terms laid down by the state legislatures, and then went off to Philadelphia to begin the first stage of a political revolution."

Which brings me to a personal confession: Joe Sobran has softened my thinking on Lincoln. When I came to study the Civil War, and study it in-depth, over eight years, it occurred to me that, truly, the conflict is more properly named the War for Southern Independence.

The Northern view of the war which I had been spoon-fed in school parrots the earlier English view of the colonial (American) War of Independence — right down to laughing at the notion that the relevant rebels could possibly claim to be fighting for freedom, merely because of the issue of slavery. By the way, the English figured things out the second time around — and rooted for the Confederacy. In that regard, see Sheldon Vanauken‘s The Glittering Illusion.

This Anglo-Northern myth is exactly that — a myth. Because"..................

I also thought that intentionally committing acts that economically cripple the country, thus rendering her incapable of defending herself or standing as a sovereign nation was also treason. And doing this at a time when the country is, rightfully or wrongfully, at war, thus, giving aid and comfort to our enemies, in my never humble opinion, leaves no doubt that this is treason.

Since the Democrats gained an unstoppable, lock-step majority in Washington, we have seen nearly a daily occurrence of unconstitutional legislation being passed by Congress and signed by the “president.” In the process, they took a deficit of some four-hundred billion dollars, and nearly quadrupled it in two years, by borrowing and “spending” like crack addicts, and".........................

It is astonishing that Barack Obama seemingly learned nothing from the 2010 national elections in which the Republicans regained control of the House with a net total of 63 seats. For the Democrats it represented the greatest loss in the House midterm election since 1938, which occurred nearly ten years into the Great Depression.

It is the House that determines the spending and borrowing to maintain the nation, though the President traditionally sends a budget. Obama did not.

Indeed, as Speaker of the House, John Boehner, has said, Obama has never put anything on paper. Negotiating Obama’s demands have changed week to week and now day to day.
