The request by President Obama to speak to a joint session of Congress simply to give a speech on the economy seems inappropriate and unprecedented. But is that what he really wants to achieve?

I think that he will actually offer his resignation to save the country from deteriorating further since he took office. It will be his grand gesture...his martyrdom...that will allow him to avoid a bitter defeat in 2012.

If you don't think this is true, then spread the word of this idea, and maybe it will take hold!....................

Asked about his recent comments regarding how authorities in the United States were “setting the stage for violence in this country,” Presidential candidate Ron Paul elaborated on how the federal government was preparing for a “breakdown in law and order.”

“They’re planning for any provision,” Paul told the Alex Jones Show, adding that the federal government is very much aware of history.

“You can have a breakdown of law and order so the people will unfortunately be begging for stabilization, and they’ll be inviting the federal government to come in and destabilize things, so I think they’re making plans along those lines,” said the Texas Congressman.
Responding to a question about whether such preparations were about a power grab on behalf of the federal government, Paul responded, “That’s their goal, it’s all about power.”
When pressed who the “they” were, Paul named the Federal Emergency Management Agency, who have come in for harsh criticism from the Congressman in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.

In a Category 4 torrent of official communications during the approach and aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has repeatedly used the phrase “federal family” when describing the Obama administration’s response to the storm.
“Under the direction of President Obama and Secretary Janet Napolitano, the entire federal family is leaning forward to support our state, tribal and territorial partners along the East Coast,” a FEMA news release declared Friday as Irene churned toward landfall.

The G-word — “government” — has been nearly banished, with FEMA instead referring to federal, state and local “partners” as well as “offices” and “personnel.”

Despite the mass hoax still being promulgated by both the mainstream media and local authorities across America, the First Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that it is not illegal for citizens to videotape police officers when they are on public duty.
“The filming of government officials while on duty is protected by the First Amendment, said the Court,” reports Daily Tech.

“The filming of government officials engaged in their duties in a public place, including police officers performing their responsibilities, fits comfortably within these principles [of protected First Amendment activity].,” said the Court. “Gathering information about government officials in a form that can readily be disseminated to others serves a cardinal First Amendment interest in protecting and promoting the free discussion of governmental affairs,” stated the ruling, adding that this has been the case all along, and that the right to film police officers is not just restricted to the press.

The case cited several examples where citizens were arrested for documenting acts of police brutality on recording devices, including that of Simon Glik, who was arrested after he filmed Boston police punching a man on the Boston Common.
Another case involved Khaliah Fitchette, a teenager who filmed police aggressively removing a man from a bus in Newark. Fitchette was arrested and detained for two hours before police deleted the video from her cellphone.

The court ruling also made it clear that bloggers who report news ba
sed on their recordings of police have equal protection under the law as journalists.

WOW...I suddenly found myself listening really seriously to Pat Caddell - could not believe my ears. I mean, that guy would have been at a Tea Party rally he would have won the day - for sure.

Of course he talked about Carter for 1 minute, he insisted that he was still a democrat, but of the old guard democrat.

Not only was this creep not punished, he was later promoted and continues to work in law enforcement today.

(Horiuchi was charged with manslaughter in Idaho State court, but US District Judge Edward Lodge dismissed the case. In justifying his horrific ruling, Lodge said that the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution “grants immunity to federal officers acting in the scope of their employment.” Way to go judge! Heil Hitler!)

Oh! And by the way, Horiuchi was a federal sharpshooter at Waco, too..............................................

Recently BQI published an article at its resource link called BQI Conspiracy Files. The article was an interview with a White House Insider who described events occurring in the white house; events often involving President Barack Obama. While the article is worth reading one area in particular caught our attention.

In the article the secret Insider stated that as a result of a decline in his favorability polls, which poses a real threat to his reelection, the Obama reelection campaign has devised a campaign strategy premised on the institution of class and racial social unrest…..riots.

NYT Shocker: 'MSNBC Is Less a News Provider Than a Carousel of Liberal Opinion':

When one of the nation's most liberal papers thinks the nation's most liberal cable news network is too biased, the owners of said network should sit up and take notice.

Consider what Alessandra Stanley wrote about MSNBC at the New York Times Tuesday:

The Rev. Al Sharpton began his new career as an official MSNBC talk show host on Monday by telling viewers not to expect James Brown.

“I’m not going to be a robotic host reading the teleprompter like a robot,” he said. “Nor am I going to come in here and do the James Brown and do the ‘electric slide’ to prove to you that I’m not stiff,” he added, waving his arms in a rough approximation of a dance move. “I’m going to say what I mean and mean what I say.”

Announcing it’s “not her lucky day,” a federal judge in Washington, D.C., has told an eligibility attorney he has dismissed her case demanding information from the Social Security Administration regarding President Obama’s Social Security number, sought because of suspicions it may be fraudulent.

The case was filed by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has battled many of the major court challenges to Obama’s eligibility.............

(CNN) -- This summer, a group of University of Kentucky students and staff has been patrolling campus grounds -- scouting out any student, employee or visitor lighting a cigarette.

Unlike hall monitors who cite students for bad behavior, the Tobacco-free Take Action! volunteers approach smokers, respectfully ask them to dispose of the cigarette and provide information about quit-smoking resources available on campus.

The University of Kentucky is one of more than 500 college campuses across the country that have enacted 100% smoke-free or tobacco-free policies as of July 1. Although policy enforcement varies from school to school, most prohibit smoking on all campus grounds, including athletic stadiums, restaurants and parking lots.

An increasing number of colleges adopted smoke-free or tobacco-free policies in the past few years, according to American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation Project Manager Liz Williams. In the past year alone, 120 campuses were added to the smoke-free list.
