Did you catch it? All the headlines about Peas and the NFL were amusing, but they weren’t the punchline to today’s stand-up routine. This admission was:

“I’d rather be talking about stuff that everybody welcomes — like new programs…”

Pretty amazing statement from a guy expressing an urgent rush to cut the cost of ‘programs” in his crisis negotiations with the Republicans, isn’t it? Perhaps he is bulldozing some old programs to make way for some new and improved “Programs”, just like when Chicago’s Richie Daley bulldozed Meigs Field in the dark of night?

Here revealed is the heart and soul of a Community Organizer President, a Program President. This is the inner truth that gushes forth without the TelePrompter. According to him, “everybody” would welcome more new programs. Really? Everybody?
