Secret Service probes Fox hack: "The Secret Service tells the AP that it’s investigating an apparent hack of Fox News’s Twitter account that said President Obama had been assassinated.
George Ogilvie, a spokesman for the service, told the wire that “we will conduct the appropriate follow up” after Fox’s political account on Twitter said Obama had been shot in Iowa.
Fox News said it was asking Twitter to investigate how its account was hacked.
The Secret Service’s involvement is actually the second Fox News-related incident it has dealt with since the service itself started using Twitter in May
