Does anyone understand why we put up with dishonest, inept, corrupt, illegal, and just plain crummy citizens and residents, politicians (elected and appointed), merchants, etc. at all levels, everywhere in this country?
The Declaration Of Independence specifically recognizes and provides the solution, it is both our right and responsibility to deal with our present situation even before it becomes this bad--throw the bums out and start over again!
Again, not just the right but the responsibility to do so!
True, there is no one we can trust with a constitutional convention.
We know that the first ConCon in Philadelphia, which met in secret, was "hijacked" by the Hamiltonians who wanted a king president and big, big government. Indeed, if the Bill of Rights was not later added, the Constitution would never have passed at all.
Even so, little by little, through the years, we are back to square one--only worse.
We do not understand because we won't face up to reality.
We all know what must be done, but we don't speak of it because that wouldn't be PC; nor do we refrain from our denial, and telling ourselves we can restore the republic, fix things, and that a leader will come forth any time now, etc, etc.
Whatever.
Wake Up Dummies!
Let's be honest with ourselves for a change.
