Supporting Trump with Care and Caution Jim O'Neill

Supporting Trump with Care and Caution

Jim O'Neill  Thursday, April 21, 2011 “Tyranny is always better organized than freedom.” —Charles Peguy (1873-1914)

Fear and Loathing” is a phrase made famous by the late Hunter S. Thompson, gonzo journalist extrordinaire.  I recall an old “Rolling Stone” magazine article in which he endorsed Jimmy Carter for President—with fear and loathing.

My support for Donald Trump has no fear in it, and certainly no loathing, but it does have its share of care and caution. In essence, my support of Trump is support for openly discussing Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS. Trump is just the current standard-bearer for the cause.

The fact that I support Trump should not be taken to mean that I endorse Trump. To say that I support Trump, but do not endorse him, might seem to be splitting political hairs, but it is more than verbal legerdemain.

Perhaps it will help to clear up my position if I rephrase things: I support a full investigation into the eligibility of Barack Obama to be POTUS—including, but not limited to his OCB (Official Certificate of Birth). I support Trump because he is the only one currently shining a spot-light on the topic. I am not, and have not, endorsed Trump for President. Support—not endorse—there IS a difference; a big one.

Those of us who have watched case after case concerning Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS, get dismissed by judge after judge, in court after court, can be excused for crowing over Trump’s taking up the torch. After being long ignored, or mocked and ridiculed by various media pundits, it is sweet indeed to have a nationally recognized figure embrace our cause. All we want to know is, “Who is Obama—really?”

You don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that “we the people” have been sold a bogus prepackaged fabrication called “Obama’s Past.” I’m not talking just about Obama’s birth; I mean the whole scenario surrounding Obama’s personal history.

Whereas Hamlet may have smelled something rotten (corrupted) in Denmark, I smell it in the US Congress, the Lame Stream Media, and all over the good old US of A. The entire eligibility issue reeks of massive cover-up, collusion, and conspiracy—and it is a dagger aimed at the heart of the US Constitution..................
