Proof that Short Form was actually UNDERNEATH Long Form when copied
I wanted to share something that I found to be interesting and perhaps interesting to others. I also would like to preface this by saying that I have been working professionally with digital images for over 20 years ago and find this case along with the Dan Rather ANG case years ago to be quite fascinating.

The document provided at http://abcnews.go.com/images/Politics/ap_obama_certificate_dm_110427.pdf shows that the original was not layered and that the person providing the "green background" COLB scanned it with OCR on as many have pointed out.

Furthermore I do not believe it is a copy of the "green" long form because the proper and consistent pixelation around the letters in the AP document.

If you look further into the pdf in a word processor you can see "HANDOUT IMAGE PROVIDED BY THE WHITE HOUSE" along with some other clues.
Therefore, I believe it is a better document in which to analyze and authenticate. After opening the document and looking at it more carefully, I found there was "ghosting" in the background suggesting that the Long Form released yesterday was copied on top of another document.

The long form must have been copied out of bound book as evidenced by the obvious left bend. The document "ghosted" in the background is none other than the Short Form released in 2008 during the campaign.

Because the image of the short form can clearly be seen behind the image of the long form, the newly released long form document is therefore a copy of a copy and not of the original long form. As to whom copied the copy is open to speculation.

I have shown my findings at http://dmeek.com/bc/
