I had this big aha last night on the way home from rehearsal. They were saying that the Obama campaign is selling tshirts that say 'Born in the USA' (or something like that) with a long-form birth certificate on it. And his mug, of course.
Call me skeptical, but I wondered if Donald Trump were not, perchance, part of Obama's campaign? He jumps in, stirs the pot, makes the birth certificate a BIG DEAL, Obama releases it to glorious fanfare and much publicity, because now it's front and center. Trump bails. Obama sells tshirts.
It stinks to high heavens to me, as if they used the 'birther' issue to their advantage, to make conservatives look like frothers, to 'prove' (not to me) that Obama was born in the US, so it would no longer be an issue.
I am sure this is what happened."

They know Kagan is compromised, so they’re setting up a “tu quoque” rejoinder for when, not if, the GOP takes up this point in earnest.

In the early 1980s, one of the books I read in college that eventually converted me from Democratic socialism to conservatism was 'The Naked Communist' (1958) by Cleon Skousen.
The 45 communist goals Skousen documented over 50 years ago reads like today's newspaper, but most people are either too ignorant ('I didn't know'), apathetic ('I don't care') or egocentric ('I want power') to understand that since FDR both political parties have essentially morphed into one leviathan hypocrisy. America has devolved into a servile welfare state where more and more of its citizens are victims of voluntary slavery to the federal government.

My second reaction upon hearing the 'news' that some European global elite money guy was busted for a sex crime was, well, the title of this thread.
It seems I heard something about a 'second in command' at the IMF, in the same sentence with the names of some big Wall Street firm. Thats when the flags went down. Its not quite a hunch; but it is a question that should be considered, simply on the probabilities. It's seems to me it's far more likely he was set up than that he's guilty.
First of all, everyone know that globalist elites prefer boys. Sure, they like to be seen with nubile kittens hanging off their arms, but their real perversions -- the sorts of things they might do while visiting the big city -- are rarely so pedestrian. While the idea of naming a U.S. Naval ship after labor leader Cesar Chavez has roiled some, California Democrat Sen. Barbara Boxer is thrilled that the activist will be receiving the honor.
Boxer called Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus Tuesday to thank him for the decision.
“I applaud Secretary Mabus for continuing the Navy’s rich tradition of naming these supply ships after pioneers, explorers and visionaries by honoring C�sar Ch�vez, who worked tirelessly to promote fair working conditions and equal rights for all Americans,” Boxer said in a statement.
“This is a fitting tribute to Ch�vez, who served in the Navy, and follows the Navy’s recent decisions to name other supply ships after American visionaries from Medgar Evers to Amelia Earhart to Lewis and Clark.”

In fact, Brazil exports ethanol, but we put a 54 cents per gallon import tax on Brazilian ethanol and then limit its import to seven percent of US production. If it were about saving money, we'd simply import the much less expensive ethanol from Brazil."
