Alternatives to Cable? (OT)

Alternatives to Cable? (OT): "Ok, So we've got Time Warner Cable, no pay channels, and Road Runner High speed Internet.

I'm sick of paying $140 a month!!!

What are some good alternatives people are using? We need high speed Internet for business purposes. As for the TV, we like Fox News, ESPN, local channels, Disney, Nickolodean, A&E, HG, History, Discover, and YES. (Yankees). Does any such system exist at a more reasonable price? That you can use a DVR or like devise?

I'm willing to entertain 'just stream from a computer' or whatever it is as long as it's reasonably user friendly and the picture is clear. Otherwise, it's $140 bucks a month for me."
