You Must Be A Racist If You Don't Love Obama, Right?

You Must Be A Racist If You Don't Love Obama, Right?

CBS anchorman Bob Schieffer says that Donald Trump is a racist. Whoopie Goldberg and her colleague on the View, Joy Behar, concur. MSNBC host Ed Schultz interpreted Mr. Trump's questioning as to how Obama was able to get into Harvard with his alleged poor grades, as a racist remark doubting Obama's intelligence.
The host on Fox's Red Eye, Greg Gutfeld, usually ends his Gregalogue rant with, "and if you don't agree with me you must be a racist." Gutfeld, however is a satirist but these mainstream media pundits are serious.

I have to wonder if they realize how closely they are following Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals." Throwing out the racism charge is their attempt to silence any criticism of President Barack Obama - First Amendment be damned.
Neo-Marxist Alinsky trained his community organizers to create the issues or problems and they "must first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; fan the latent hostilities; stir up dissatisfaction and discontent." He recommended doing this by clothing it in moral arguments. Well, what better way to do this than by using the race card to attack and belittle any critics of the left's icon?

The problem is that the mainstream media or MSM is no longer the main source of information for many Americans. Because of the Internet and the ubiquitous video camera, the truth is out there even though some may go to great lengths to cover it up.
Questions about Obama remain and Donald Trump has the right to say out loud what those questions are.

The pundits have the same right to condemn his speech as long as we are still able to hear it. But the racism charge is so outrageous that I wonder if these intellectually challenged analysts even know what that word means. I'm willing to bet that Mr. Trump who originally praised Obama, probably voted for the president (along with 60% of whites) and that reminds me of an email I just received citing this as the greatest quote of the year:
"If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, you must vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot."

Mr. Trump is not an idiot and is probably saying to himself, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." So he's asking the questions that nobody bothered asking in 2008 but which conservatives were insisting held the key to Obama's character. Why is it racist to question how Barack Obama got into one of the hardest to enter universities when he allegedly was not a good student? Surely George W. Bush will forever be regarded by the MSM as the dumbest president ever and for eight long years was vilified by the media and the entertainment industry.

Any attempt to clarify that Harvard issue has been shamefully covered up by the Alinsky-inspired media. Percy Sutton, one of the most respected civil rights activists and former Manhattan borough president who was also Malcolm X's attorney, gave an interview on the NY1 cable station in 2008 about his opinion of Barack Obama. He said:

"I think he's the brightest, the most wonderful person who has come across the starting line. I was introduced to him by a friend who's raising money for him. The friend's name is Dr. Khalid-al Mansour from Texas. He is the principal advisor to one of the world's richest men. (Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Tatal,) He told me about him, Obama. He wrote to me about him. 'There is a young man who has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends left there. Would you please write a letter in support of him?' And I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends in Harvard. The friend's name is Dr. Khalid Al-Mansour."

The interview took place during the 2008 campaign and was promptly squashed by the Obama campaign. It was suggested that the esteemed Mr. Sutton had misspoken, was confused and in ill health at the time. Mr. Al-Mansour denied that he ever contacted Sutton and the Obama campaign claimed that Obama does not know Al-Mansour. Press reports backed Obama and one scribe showed that Obama was funded by student loans and is $42,753 in debt. Exactly how much does four years of Harvard cost? Quite a bit more than that, I'd wager.

Sutton certainly gave no hint of being confused on that video which has been widely disseminated on YouTube.com. This revered man was the son of a slave, a former Tuskegee airman, Korean War veteran and civil rights leader who passed away two years later and did not deserve to be dismissed in such a cavalier manner.

To understand why this was done one would have to understand who Dr. Al-Mansour is. He is a Black Muslim and Black Nationalist whose speeches are very similar to Rev. Wright in its anti-Americanism, anti-Semitic and anti-white rhetoric. He was an original organizer of the Black Panther Party and there are numerous videos of him on the Internet that could be considered inflammatory and violence inciting.

In one he says "whatever you do to [white people], they deserve it, God wants you to do it and that's when you cut out the nose, cut out the ears, take flesh out of their body, don't worry because God wants you to do it."
This language is protected by the First Amendment according to the liberal elite but suggest for one moment that the president has questionable associations in his past and you are a racist. Ironically the most notorious racists in our modern American history have come from the Democrat Party, the home of the Ku Klux Klan-George Wallace, Lester Maddox, Bull Conner et al-while the Republicans were the originators of most civil rights legislation.

As a Hispanic conservative, I am constantly inundated with literature, emails and other correspondence from the right wing of the political spectrum so I am not surprised at the number of Blacks and Hispanics that belong there. Towards the end of the Bush administration the one person that dominated the wish list of the right wing had no desire to enter the fray. Websites were established to urge that person to run, that this was our only hope for America. Bumper stickers were sold and online donations were sought for a hopeful run but to no avail.

This was the perfect candidate we hoped to have-super intelligent, Stanford University provost, well versed in international affairs, a former National Security Agency Director and, for God's sakes, our Secretary of State - Condoleezza Rice.

So, media pundits, don't call us racists just because we demand that our candidates be qualified. Look in your mirror instead.
