Recently, despite all the partisan bickering, Congress came to an agreement to shave $38 billion off the federal budget.
They would have us all believe that they saved the world, that if it were not for their heroic actions, our government would have come to a screeching halt and life as we know it would come to an end.
The funny thing is that quite a few people fell for this rubbish.
