With a close eye on Europe, adoration for the French Revolution, and the acceptance of Karl Marx into the pantheon of intellectuals the establishment in the North was aware which way the wind was blowing.
In the 1800’s the heroes of modern Europe were centralizers, colonizers, and empire builders; led by strongmen like Benjamin Disraeli, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Bismarck. These trends were known to the Yankee powerbrokers who did not want to be left behind.
The only thing that stood in their way was the South. From the swamps of Florida to the Ozarks of Missouri the vast geography harbored “archaic” notions of governance. In the same way that Prussia coveted Bavaria and Austria the Yankees craved the South and its wealth.
They need only to provoke the Southern people enough, war would break out, and conquest would belong to the North. No one in the world would come to the aid of the quaint rustics in the South and within days or weeks a new central government would reign from Washington.....

” Once France justified diplomatic and military ties, then the die would be irrevocably cast. The move would be enough to sway public opinion across Christendom against the common enemy, Abraham Lincoln, and the clique that controlled Washington.
The most likely candidates to join the coalition with France would be Austria, Bavaria, and Brazil for starters. Outside Bismarck and the Prussians and the friendless goat of the Crimean War, Czar Alexander II of Russia, Lincoln‘s northern alliance had few friends.
These facts were well known to the Europeans who calculated that with the leadership of Napoleon III and his military, allied with the ground forces of the CSA, short work could be made of Lincoln. At the end of Chevalier’s comments, he raised a military specter: “The navy of France is an argument which, in case of necessity, would support diplomatic action.”
Here the meaning is obvious. Under the correct diplomatic cover, the French fleet would come in and smash the Yankee blockade and restore international trade and order. This would be the end of Lincoln’s northern alliance.

Already, several Christian Pastors have been arrested for simply exercising their freedom of speech about a variety of issues in public places. Laws, rights and our constitution are being shredded and ignored all over the……

The conclusion to all of this is one that even I did not want to think of until recently. But the Revolution will not be American. Not anymore. We have learned our lessons well.
Modern Americans are riddled with apathy. If you want to know how far it can go, think of the worst atrocities the Nazis committed and realize there were no crowds storming the gates of Auschwitz . Foreign, invading soldiers opened those gates. And so shall it be with us.
We can’t wake the sleeping giant. But someone, somewhere, can club it in the head. When the Empire is too big, too aggressive, too starved and internally paralyzed (vibrantly demonstrated by Katrina, thank you, Ma’am, for that performance), and it finally oversteps one border too many, China , India , and Europe will implement, shall we say, ‘corrective procedures.’

Does anyone know the origins of Political Correctness? Who originally developed it and what was its purpose? President Obama does, and he uses it to advance his socialist fascist agenda.
Political Correctness was developed at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, which was founded in 1923 and came to be known as the "Frankfurt School." It was a group of thinkers who pulled together to find a solution to the biggest problem facing the implementers of communism in Russia.
The problem? Why wasn't communism spreading?
Their answer? Because Western Civilization was in its way.

Cato Institute staffers are known for carrying little pocket-sized copies of the Constitution around with them, presumably so that they will never miss a chance to prove to anyone who will listen that there is indeed a way of limiting government: enforce the Constitution.
But this whole enterprise of preaching about the Constitution, as conservatives and libertarians have been doing since at least the 1930s, is utterly futile. It has had no effect whatsoever, yet Cato, Heritage, and many other institutions continue to churn out essentially the same old arguments about how the Constitution can limit government.
The reason all these efforts are useless is that.....

By accepting the Republican Big Con, Big Stall strategy, we are doing just that.
In fact, Obama could be removed from office or forced to resign at any time, if the requirements of Article II, Section I, Clause 5 were enforced and his crimes were properly investigated.
It is time that we stand our ground, not to make a political point, but, more importantly, to take back our government, preserve our Constitution and save our republic.
The American people can mount a credible threat against the Republican establishment by leveraging our most potent weapon, our vote, and withholding it until they address Obama’s illegal Presidency and his crimes both before and after occupying the Oval Office.
If we can no longer persuade the Republican leadership to respect us and our opinions, then fear will do.....

Intoning age-old clich s, the good professor spoke of the “vast income disparity” between the “top 1%” and the rest of America.
He held the “millionaires and billionaires” responsible for high unemployment and poverty. He earnestly spoke of the need for “income redistribution” and called for a fair division of “the pie.”.....

Guys, this is far more important than Penn State’s Disgusting Creep of the Decade, or even Conrad Murray’s sentencing.

What Americans have learned is that those who take oaths and those who keep them are seldom the same folks. “Oaths” seem to come with more than a bit of “wiggle-room.”
Here is what an oath sounds like to a citizen:
“I (state your name) promise to protect and defend the constitution of the United States and to perform my duties with honor…..”
This could be a judge, a soldier, a dog warden, even a police officer. The problem of late has been that those who take oaths seem to have held what we term “mental reservations and evasions” while taking their oaths.

I. What is Modern Liberalism
Those demanding that Conservatives be politically sidelined are modern liberals—but what is modern liberalism? This definition is essential. Quite a few people have emailed me begging me to critically review Bill O'Reilly's new book, Killing Lincoln, about the assassination. They do this not because they have read the book, which is a big, boring bag of nothingness, but because they've heard O'Reilly spout the neocon party line about "Father Abraham" on his television show and they smell a rat.
I've read the book, and it really is a big bunch of nothing. All it is is a narrative of the events leading up to the assassination. Over 100 books are already in print on the subject, and all O'Reilly and his coauthor do is cut and paste what others have written on the subject, but without including a single footnote!

“Widely respected.” “A wise jurist.”
The US news media heaped on the praise, but was purposefully vague about who this extraordinary judge was and what he actually did.
The early and oft-repeated media claim “the judge was just in the wrong place at the wrong time” doesn’t ring true for several reasons, the most important being how the heck would they know and know so quickly?
Equally as suspicious, why did they feel the need to repeat this statement over and over again from the very beginning of the reports? Who inserted this into the news stream?
Judge Roll was an opponent of the Federal government overreaching its authority.
Specifically:
1. He ruled against federal imposition on states rights in gun law matters,
2. He ruled against elements of the Patriot Act (the part where federal “law enforcement agents” can seize your bank account without cause), and
3. He ruled against the newly announced FEMA Governor system in which the federal government plans to take the power of elected state Governors and put in in the hands of federally-appointed “regional” governors in the case of an “emergency.”
It’s a rare judge these days that stands up to this BS or shows any interest in the Constitution at all.
And he ended up dead in the parking lot of a Safeway Supermarket at the hands of a “lone nut” who local law enforcement allowed to run wild publicly making violent threats against employers and school administrators.

But I don’t think he’s finished with his mission. He’s got a good start, but he’s not finished. Caddell was on Fox News Channel, Cavuto‘s show. Was it the business channel or regular Fox? It doesn’t matter. They had a discussion about the super committee bombing. This is what Pat Caddell said.

Herman Cain‘s Secret Service Request Prompted by Journalist Skirmishes

Herman Cain, who’s security team manhandled multiple reporters recently, became the first GOP candidate to receive Secret Service protection in this election cycle–and Cain’s spokesman, J.D. Gordon said skirmishes with journalists prompted the decision, The Washington Post reported.
“Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon said Thursday night that the campaign asked for the protection after The Washington Post posted an article online that morning detailing a series of physical skirmishes involving journalists at Cain rallies.”

As I read the memorandum in front of me, I am amazed how blind Americans are, how na�ve, ignorant, credulous, and unable to discern fact from fiction, reality from fantasy. How much more proof do they need before they realize our country is on the path of purposeful destruction?
Service Employees International Union (SEIU), with its 2.1 million dues paying members had announced on November 16, 2011, “with great pride and a sense of purpose,” that they were endorsing President Barack Obama for re-election.
“President Obama is the only candidate for president who shares our vision of America as a land of opportunity for everyone. We need a leader willing to fight for the needs of the 99 percent, and stand with hard working families to say that the world’s wealthiest corporations must pay their fair share.”

The Constitutional requirement for President is “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be ELIGIBLE to the Office of President;…”
Note the Constitutional distinction of “natural born Citizen” and “Citizen.” The paramount question is “why would the founders make this distinction if it was not meaningfully important”?
In the case, Minor v. Happersett (1874), Minor, a woman, wanted to register to vote in the federal Presidential election and was denied registration because of her gender.....

For some time now, many conservatives have thought that President Obama is the Second Coming of Jimmy Carter.
They think that chronic 9% unemployment, creeping inflation, and a foreign policy of self-abasement and weakness will doom Obama to a single term, and that he’ll slink off with his tail between his legs in disgrace, just like Carter did after 1980.

Alan West says that the media needs to stop being afraid of standing up to Obama. I’m thinking that Col. West has this wrong.
There are two dynamics going on here. One is that elements of the DC and NYC press corps (pronounced corpse) are in love with Obama, not afraid of him. Don’t forget that Evan Thomas of Newsweek referred to Herr Ruler as “sort of a God.”
Remember also Terry Moran of ABC news who told us that Obama is so hugely wonderful and amazing that he actually had to “step down” to the White House.....

Addressing the corrupt status quo
Admittedly, I am distrustful of politicians and skeptical regarding the promises they make.
Despite these reservations, Texas Governor Rick Perry is the only Presidential candidate who has thus far addressed the corruption issue as a major part of his campaign platform.
Perry’s proposals include:
Members of Congress are too entrenched in Washington, out-of-touch, and frankly do little to actually benefit the American people while they are in session. Work to establish a part-time, Citizen Congress, cut congressional pay in half and repeal the rules that prevent members of Congress from holding real jobs in their home states and communities.
Criminalize insider trading by members of Congress.
Congressional office budgets have doubled since 2000. Freeze federal civilian hiring and salaries until the budget is balanced.
End lifetime appointments of federal judges by instituting an 18-year term limit.....
