If these talk radio shows I listen to are indicative of the American population in general, and Republicans and conservatives in particular, then, stop the world, I’m getting off. The statists among the Republican field of presidential candidates propose to change things a little bit here and there, but in them and their supporters there is a severe psychological denial and stubborn refusal to recognize that the entire system of central planning in Washington needs to go. It is inherently flawed.
The deniers and fantasizers are saying that, as long as anyone but Barack Obama is elected in 2012, then things will get better. No, they won’t. Many people are fixated on making sure that the Republicans choose someone who is "electable," and they actually think that the Teflon Guy, Mitt Romney, is that candidate. However, one talk show caller to the Howie Carr show in Boston this week had it right: Romney will be just like McCain was in 2008, handing the election over to Obama on a silver platter.
But, even if Romney does get elected, and given that many of these pundits and political junkies are statists and think only in the short term, they never seem to be considering what happens after Romney’s inauguration. Will he do anything about the Federal Reserve, or Wall Street? Or stop the murderous warmongering? Nope. These statist candidates who love their central planning bureaucracies will not change a thing in Washington, even though it is those very central planning bureaucracies, especially the Fed and the national security-military complex, that have been destroying America.
On one of those annoying radio talk shows this week, conservative talk host Michael Graham took a call from someone in favor of ending the Federal Reserve "monstrosity," and Graham’s reply was something like, "oh, and instead give Congress control over our money," and so forth. But did Graham allow the caller to respond, possibly suggesting another alternative, such as having a free market in money with competitive currencies? Nope. Graham just concluded the conversation and took another call.
And talk host Howie Carr had a caller who disliked Romney and said he was between Herman Cain and Ron Paul. Carr seemed to agree with some of the caller’s positive comments about Paul, "except.....

Though many sides use the openness of the Internet; it is becoming more effective for the conservative view, because the Internet circumvents the main stream media. Now a single blogger can take a major politician down. Now one stupid comment that would have never see the light of day is on Youtube 5 minutes after it was uttered. The conservative message is being read, watched and listen to by millions more every year, people seek their news, it is no longer spoon fed to them.
As the left more and more realizes that the public actually has an educated opinion, the more they over react and prove that their ideas cannot survive the light of day. They try to pass laws like Net-Nuetrality and The Fairness Doctrine, which only benefit them and stifle all other discussion. So that their historically monstrous ideas can be tried again to the peoples demise.....

My intent here is not to claim that our original constitution, The Articles of Confederation, were a perfect set of rules, or that any set of rules established by simple men could be perfect. My intent is to expose the lie that is our current constitution.
If we as a people could see the truth of why our original constitution was completely scrapped in favor of our current one, maybe a more widespread anger would arise. Once it is accepted that the Hamiltonians in 1787 staged a coup to destroy states rights in favor of federal power, and to destroy individual liberty in favor of nationalism, then maybe more will begin to question their false idolization of the constitution. One could only hope for such an awakening.
Before this constitution, there was no power whatsoever for the federal government to tax. That was left entirely to the individual states. Now the Feds have an unlimited power to tax.....

I would rather not vote at all than vote for Mitt Romney.

(Oct. 13, 2011) — Let’s say I’m legally in contention to be the next President and someone accuses me of being born in Kenya. My response would be to inform the uninformed that my mother never had the honor of visiting Kenya. And what do you think the accuser says next? That I was born in Kenya.
Through some sort of freak accident, all the stars align to make the 2012 election honest and everyone writes in “OPOVV” for their choice of Federal Employee Number One. And then we hear rumblings of ineligibility because of the “possibility” of my having been born in Kenya, which I and all of my supporters TOTALLY IGNORE because, after all, we all know that my mother never had the honor of visiting Kenya.
There’s also talk of having multiple Social Security cards and aliases, and never having served a day in the United States military, which I and all of my supporters TOTALLY IGNORE because we all know that I’ve used only one name, had the same Social Security card all of my life, and have an Honorable Discharge from the United States Military.

In a belated expression of remorse for the nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki sixty six years ago, President Obama has authorized the Army to launch apologetic nuclear strikes on two American cities. The selection of cities is not final, but they will most likely be Dallas and Houston in a nod to the Democratic desire to attack cities in a “red” state prior to national elections.
After Tokyo had denied Obama’s bid to go to Hiroshima to publicly apologize for America’s dropping the bomb there, Obama reportedly sought advice from his staff about an alternative way to turn America’s victory in WWII into a matter of national humiliation.
“The point was not to make the Japanese feel better – who cares what they feel? – but to make Americans feel worse,” said Press Secretary Jay Carney at a briefing this morning.
