Republicans Cancel the Constitution| The Post & Email:

Like Democrats, Congressional Republicans consider the Constitution an inconvenient obstacle to their exercise of power.

They have long wanted a “flexible” and “living” Constitution, which can be reinterpreted according to their own whims or adjusted to whatever political winds might be blowing at the moment.

For years both Democrats and Republicans have attempted through Constitutional amendments to dilute Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the Constitution, which requires candidates for President and Vice President to be natural born citizens, that is, US citizens born to citizen parents at the time of birth.

Up until 2008, all such efforts failed..................
