"Last Thursday, Apple indicated it would acquiesce to the demand from Imperial Senators Schumer, Reid, Lautenberg, and Udall to remove from its online store any Apps that enabled end-users to track government checkpoints.

The Senators couched their decree under the cover of “DUI” to make the idea more palatable to a public growing increasingly tired of unwarranted government intrusion. However, no sooner than Apple agreed to kowtow to the Senators’ unlawful decree, Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) issued a statement imploring Apple take the further step of removing all Apps that inform drivers of government checkpoints, not just those used for DUI.


Whereas the government feels it has the “right” to invade our bank, medical, credit card records, and mandate that all new automobiles come equipped with “black boxes”; government will not allow Americans to track the burgeoning police state emanating from Washington. Such an extension of the “App Ban” will without question look to include the random suspicionless checkpoints referred to as “Constitution Free Zones” run by ICE which cut a 100-mile swath around the contiguous 48 states as well as the random DHS VIPR checkpoints designed for use on city streets and highways."
