How Obama’s incompetence, Bin Laden’s death and Karl Rove will combine to elect Donald Trump

A few things will result from the killing of Bin Laden:
A) The media will push poll Barack Obama’s numbers to get him to 60% approval;
B) liberals will now pour money into Obama’s re-election;

C) both of these factors will scare away Republicans;
D) Karl Rove and others will offer the brief jump in Obama’s numbers as more proof of their insistence that Obama is unbeatable which will scare a few more Republicans away; and


E) this will leave only Donald Trump, a man who succeeds by making his own luck, as the beneficiary of Rove’s self serving pronouncements and the GOP panic it will bring about.
The killing of Bin Laden on Obama’s watch will lead to Donald Trump’s nomination and election. Only a decision by Trump himself can change that.
1992 all over

After America’s smashing success in the Persian Gulf War, George H.W. Bush enjoyed a record breaking 89% approval rating. The fall of the Soviet Union and the removal of Manuel Noriega in Panama combined with the fall of the Soviet Union all but guaranteed Bush’s re-election and scared away sensible Democrats.

His re-election was a sure thing right up until the time when it wasn’t.
The list of Democrats in the 1992 presidential primaries was especially weak. With the exception of Jerry Brown and a few second tier Senators they were largely unknown.

But some Democrat HAD to run so they nominated Bill Clinton of Arkansas hoping to win with another small state Southern governor as Georgia’s Jimmy Carter had been in 1976…….
Going from 89% to 38%

Ross Perot’s relentless personal attacks on Bush and a sour economy combined with Perot’s own candidacy took its toll on Bush’s 89% approval rating. A 7.9% unemployment, 14.2% poverty rate greased
