“Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST), a US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programme designed to spot people who are intending to commit a terrorist act, has in the past few months completed its first round of field tests at an undisclosed location in the northeast,” reports Nature.
The system works by using a computer program that studies physiological indicators of a person, such as heart rate and the steadiness of a person’s gaze, and then uses the data to make a judgment on whether that individual has “malintent”."

In some cases, the responses were of a negative nature from those who disagree with the author's claim that an execution of two Marines had taken place by the Marine Corps, on Guadalcanal, in 1942. Others suggested that the author was not a Marine at all as he claimed, but then others stated that they had ascertained, through official records, that he indeed had served in the Corps.
Conversely, others inquired, expressing interest, as to how to contact Mr. Miller for more information, or how his book could be obtained.
My own interest was tweaked by these events, and I attempted to research this subject as best I could. I am presently in the process of reading the book at the present time.

I first learned of the book, 'The Marines' Secret Execution,' from the author several months ago. At that time I sent out the author's provided pre-publication information (URL) to several individuals for purposes of information and discussion. Since then there has been both discussion and inquiries from Marines, and others, regarding the book. However, one of Palin’s harshest critics, Andrew Sullivan, warned Matthews that she could in fact go all the way. Sullivan listed some possible scenarios where Palin could realistically be elected and Matthews concluded only an “Armageddon moment” could make it possible.

Samantha, who did not give her last name, and her friends were hiking at Downriver Park over the weekend when they captured Bigfoot by using their iPhone camera.
Samantha posted a YouTube video of the creature a few days later.
In her post, Samantha said she didn't notice Bigfoot until she looked at her video when she got home.
So, far more than 1,500 people have viewed the video online.
'Someone asked me in the comments section if I believed in Bigfoot before the video,' wrote Samantha in an e-mail to KXLY.
'I have never given it much thought, but now I'm not so sure. Seem real enough to me,' she said.
KXLY showed the video to several students and staff at Spokane Community College, where the school mascot is Bigfoot himself."

“We hold that Arizona’s licensing law falls well within the confines of the authority Congress chose to leave to the states and therefore is not expressly preempted.” “no basis in law, fact, or logic” for the argument that Arizona should be stopped from doing so in the name of federal “preemption” of state activity.
Other states are following Arizona's example and considering requiring all employers to enroll in the Homeland Security Department's voluntary E-Verify program, which compares employees' names and Social Security numbers with government data bases. Georgia has just recently enacted this type of law.
A federal version of E-Verify will soon be introduced by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, R-TX. Congressman Smith weighed in on E-Verify:
“I am pleased the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Arizona E-Verify law and their right to revoke business licenses for employers that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. Not only is this law constitutional, it is commonsense.”"
