May 13, 2011) — Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, who was court-martialed in December 2010 and spent five months in prison for disobeying orders due to Obama’s questionable eligibility, was released from Ft. Leavenworth today and appeared on Sandy Springs Radio from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT.
The U.S. Army had ruled that the military was “no place for Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility to be evaluated” and had refused Lakin discovery as to whether or not Obama was eligible to serve as president and commander-in-chief.
Lakin’s request for clemency was denied last month, but he was released one month short of his six-month sentence for good behavior.
The internet radio show was hosted by a trustee of the Terry Lakin Action Fund, during which Lakin answered many questions regarding the time he was away from his family. Lakin’s brother Greg provided commentary on Terry’s experience as well as some aspects of the court-martial.

Every time some maverick like Camping decides to go off the reservation and promote a prophecy like this, scorn is brought on all of us who believe Jesus is coming again. The mockery factor will be quite high come Monday the 23rd.
I do not know what Camping is going to do. He has closed every door on his options. He has said the Bible guarantees it. There is no plan B. This is it, plain and simple, no question marks after May 21, 2011? or the like to fall back on.

Republican primary voters are pretty skeptical about the nation’s political leadership.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 64% of Likely GOP Primary Voters believe the gap between Americans who want to govern themselves and politicians who want to rule over them is now as big as it was between the American Colonies and Great Britain in the 18th century. Just 16% disagree with this sentiment, and 20% aren’t sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
But then 84% of Republican voters trust the judgment of the American people more than that of the nation's political leaders when it comes to important issues. Only four percent (4%) trust the political leaders more. Twelve percent (12%) are undecided. Among all voters, 76% trust the people more than the politicians.

Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick on Thursday asked a juror in the case if he had any qualms about viewing images of the child's remains or smelling evidence. Prosecutors hope to use a novel forensics test of air from Anthony's car during the trial.

The strange subculture of the sovereign citizens movement, whose adherents hold truly bizarre, complex anti-government beliefs, has been growing at a fast pace since the late 2000s. Sovereigns believe that they — not judges, juries, law enforcement or elected officials — get to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore, and they don't think they should have to pay taxes.
Sovereigns are clogging up the courts with indecipherable filings and when cornered, many of them lash out in rage, frustration and, in the most extreme cases, acts of deadly violence, usually directed against government officials. In May 2010, for example, a father-son team of sovereigns murdered two police officers with an assault rifle when they were pulled over on the interstate while traveling through West Memphis, Ark.
The movement is rooted in racism and anti-Semitism, though most sovereigns, many of whom are African American, are unaware of their beliefs' origins. In the early 1980s, the sovereign citizens movement mostly attracted white supremacists and anti-Semites, mainly because sovereign theories originated in groups that saw Jews as working behind the scenes to manipulate financial institutions and control the government.

The contemporary sovereign belief system is based on a decades-old conspiracy theory. At some point in history, sovereigns believe, the American government set up by the founding fathers — with a legal system the sovereigns refer to as "common law" — was secretly replaced by a new government system based on admiralty law, the law of the sea and international commerce.
Under common law, or so they believe, the sovereigns would be free men. Under admiralty law, they are slaves, and secret government forces have a vested interest in keeping them that way.

While lower level al-Qaeda operatives were eager to take out any and all potential “enemies,” bin Laden reportedly nixed Biden as a target. “This pompous ass does more to discredit the credibility of the United States government than we could ever achieve through our own propaganda,” bin Laden argued. “Killing him would only give the Americans the opportunity to replace him with someone more competent.”

Any deviation is treated with utter suspicion, or outright contempt. This ought not be, and must change if Conservatism hope to reassert preeminence. This presumes a movement based upon a core of sacrosanct principles, of black and white areas, but also much gray zones demanding debate.

This week, KGUN9 News reporter Joel Waldman interviewed Pima Co. Sheriff's Department Lt. Michael O'Connor about the shooting of Jose Guerena, who died last week when a SWAT team tried to serve a search warrant at his Tucson home.
The victim's wife Vanessa has stated that neither she nor her husband knew that the people breaking into her home were deputies. She said that her husband, who pointed a rifle at deputies, was only trying to defend himself. Guarena never got off a shot.
But SWAT team members fired a total of at least 71 rounds, leaving the home riddled with holes. Ms. Guerena was hiding in a closet at the time with one of the couple's children. Neither was hurt.

O'Connor: "This case involves a narcotics conspiracy case, which means that we are looking for a lot of different narcotics related material. That can be drug ledgers, scales, anything that would be in furtherance of this narcotics conspiracy. Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) has introduced a bill that would allow the President to imprison an unlimited number of American citizens (as well as foreigners) indefinitely without trial. Known as The Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010, or S. 3081, the bill authorizes the President to deny a detainee a trial by jury simply by designating that person an “enemy belligerent.”
The bill, which has eight cosponsors, explicitly names U.S. citizens as among those who can be detained indefinitely without trial:

I served with Ron Paul in Congress for 10 years. He was a member of my Immigration Reform Caucus, and I consider him a friend. We didn't see eye to eye on every issue, but he was generally an ally in the fight against illegal immigration. Unfortunately, it appears that Paul's views on immigration have now shifted into the pro-amnesty camp.

"President" Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama is trying to create a marxist/socialist dictatorship. In order to achieve this, he and his Dem/RINO allies must destroy the U.S. Constitution, which stands directly in their way.
Soetoro and his allies are attempting to destroy the constitution by creating a wedge. The point of their attack is the NBC Clause. Soetoro and his Dem/RINO allies are trying to mainstream the idea that that clause of the constitution does not really matter. Once that section becomes delegitimized, they can do the same with other clauses in the constitution they don't like, and so on.

Yes, you read that correctly: a link is an "information location tool" and such tools may be barred from pointing to sites deemed "dedicated to infringing" purposes. That seems like a massive breach of the First Amendment. If there is relevant information, as someone covering the news, why should I be prevented from linking?

I wrote earlier about how the new PROTECT IP Act guts parts of the DMCA, but as you dig deeper, it's looking even worse. The original (and now updated) article focused on the use of the term "interactive computer service," which was in a draft copy of the bill. At the last minute, that was changed instead to be "information location tool." While, at first, this may seem to be a narrower definition, there are some serious concerns that this effectively makes it illegal to link to any website that is accused of being "dedicated to infringing purposes." That's because an "information location tool" is defined under current law to be: a "directory, index, reference, pointer, or hypertext link."

Conspiracy theories were left to popular imagination. But in talking with Collins, Lovick, Slater, Barnes and Martin, it is clear that much of the folklore was spun from threads of fact.
As for the myths of reverse-engineering of flying saucers, Barnes offers some insight: “We did reverse engineer a lot of foreign technology, including the Soviet MiG fighter jet out at the Area” — even though the MiG wasn’t shaped like a flying saucer. As for the underground-tunnel talk, that, too, was born of truth. Barnes worked on a nuclear-rocket program called Project NERVA, inside underground chambers at Jackass Flats, in Area 51’s back yard. “Three test-cell facilities were connected by railroad, but everything else was underground,” he says.

...And then, after Lakin rots in prison for four months, the White House sleaze releases his birth certificate, albeit a phony one. But being phony or not isn’t the point. The point is that the president, eligible or not, let an honorable man rot in prison for something that he could have prevented by releasing his birth certificate back in December 2010.
The point is that our government, all of the Judicial, all of the Legislative, and the Executive, was sending a message: You, the American citizen, have no redress whatsoever. None. We will destroy America and you can’t stop us.

How are you going to fight it when they own the courts, the cops, the press? What are you going to do?
